Bachelor of Science

The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology program at Sanford-Brown College-Fenton (SBC) is designed for the individual who currently possesses the RT credential and an Associate's Degree in Radiography or completion of a comparable certificate from a JRCERT-accredited program. This degree program is designed to help prepare radiography professionals who are interested in advancement into healthcare management positions using skills in finance, supervision and human resource management through an appropriate set of general education, didactic theory and hands-on skills required for advancement into management within healthcare. At the conclusion of the program, graduates who have diligently attended class and their clinical, studied, and practiced their skills should have the skills to seek management opportunities within various healthcare settings.

STATE LICENSURE/REGISTRATION INFORMATION
In Missouri, radiographers are not required by law to be certified by ARRT or licensed/registered with the state in order to practice. However, ARRT certification and/or state licensure/registration may be required in other states. SBC does not control state licensure/registration requirements in Missouri or other states and cannot guarantee that graduates of the program will be eligible to practice as radiographers in Missouri or in another state, at all or at any specific time.
